Rochelle is an Associate Professor in Global Health and Deputy Director of the UCL Centre for Global Non-Communicable Diseases, at the Institute for Global Health at UCL. She is interested in the promotion of community approaches to health globally, and views communities as a route to understanding and responding to the political economy of poor health, with a particular emphasis on the impacts of broader development issues such as poverty, gender, systems of governance, and community mobilisation (civil society). 

María Cecilia is an Assistant Professor at the Los Andes University School of Government. Her work focuses on the relationship between social cognition, context, and culture, with an emphasis on youth violence, armed conflict, and mental health. In her work, María Cecilia predominantly uses qualitative and participatory methods at the community level, to inform public programs and policies.

Sandra is a Professor of Social Psychology at LSE, and Director of the MSc program in Social and Cultural Psychology. Her research focuses on the psychology of public spheres and human development under contextual adversity. Sandra has extensive experience leading international cross-agency collaborations, and advised a wide range of international organisations including UNESCO and WHO. She continues to hold strong teaching and research links in Latin America.

Dario is an Associate Professor at the Los Andes Unvisersity, Alberto Lleras Camargo School of Government. His research interests include: education policy, social policy, and public policy. Dario has been involved in various social policy research projects in Colombia, with a particular focus on the educational system, labor market and youth in Colombia.

Diego is a Medical Doctor by background, and also has a PhD in Public Health from the University of Michigan. His work focuses on understanding social and behavioural factors that influence the health of individuals, groups, communities and societies.  Diego's research has an emphasis on public health interventions, and the analysis of health inequities.

Norha has an academic background in political science, clinical and experimental psychology, and population research. She currently works as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Global Health (UCL) and the NIHR Mental Health Policy Research Unit. Her research applies participatory methods that promote stakeholder involvement and challenges the traditional focus on clinical views.

Laura is a Social and Community Psychologist, and PhD Candidate at LSE. Her research focuses on peace building in Colombia, particularly on reconciliation processes, community participation, education and mental health. 

Fanny is a founding member and treasurer of the Manigua Corporation (Corpomanigua). She has worked in the field of women's empowerment for over 30 years and has been involved in numerous developmental projects for communities in colonised areas in Colombia. Fanny also runs support groups for women and men, using psychosocial tools, and has worked with think tanks focusing on issues such as gender rights.

Diego is a Signatory of the Final Peace Agreement between the FARC guerillas and the Colombian Government. As a member of the Coombuvipac Cooperative, he has been involved in planning and designing reincorporation processes for ex combatants at the local level. He is currently a member of the Comunes political party, and has been selected by them to be a delegate in the Commission for Monitoring, Promotion and Verification of the Implementation of the AFP (Final Peace Agreement).

Monica is a Psychologist by degree, and has an MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology from LSE. She has worked on various projects in the field of psychosocial phenomena and the armed conflict and forced displacement in Colombia. Her areas of interest are critical social research and peace building, as well as participatory approaches to work with different communities and groups.

Monica is a Psychologist by background, and is currently pursuing her master's degree in education at the University of La Sabana. Mónica is passionate about community and educational social work. Her role on the STARS-C project involves coordinating the research processes that take place in the field with the community researchers from La Montañita.

María Fernanda is a youth counsellor for the municipality of Florencia, and also works with the international NGO Árbol Fuente de Vida. She is passionate about social service, and community work. 

Kely is a Psychology student with a background in communication and IT, and ample experience as Administrative and Research Assistant. In 2018, she began working at Corporación Manigua, a charity based in Florencia that is dedicated to promoting gender equity and peace building in the Amazon territories. 

Patricia is a women's rights activist from Caquetá Department, Colombia. Her work focuses on gender inequities in education and communities, and uses a psychosocial approach. Patricia acts as a Defender of Sexual and Reproductive Rights, and has received two Institutional recognition awards from the Regional Ombudsman's Office and the Government of Caquetá.

Tatiana is a peace agreement signer and community researcher in Centro Poblado Héctor Ramírez. She is also the general manager of COOMBUVIPAC.
